Position: Senior Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Raleigh, NC
Compensation: $120K–$140K base salary (commensurate with experience) + comprehensive benefits package

Role Overview:
The Senior Mechanical Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale commercial and institutional mechanical projects from preconstruction through closeout. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of mechanical construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Serve as the primary client interface, maintaining strong relationships with owners, engineers, and general contractors.
  • Lead BIM coordination efforts and collaborate with design teams to resolve technical and field challenges.
  • Ensure project delivery meets company standards for quality, safety, and profitability.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Project Managers, Assistant PMs, and field teams.
  • Support business development and preconstruction efforts as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience managing commercial mechanical (HVAC/plumbing) projects.
  • Proven success delivering $10M–$30M+ mechanical scopes.
  • Strong understanding of project engineering processes, including RFIs, submittals, procurement, and cost control.
  • Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, BlueBeam, Smartsheet, or similar).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
