About the Role We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This is a pivotal leadership role for a construction professional with a proven track record across diverse sectors including K-12 education, healthcare, hospitality, multifamily, and commercial construction. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily on-site operations for ground-up and renovation projects.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain strict adherence to project schedules, budgets, and safety protocols.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to resolve issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
- Strong portfolio of completed projects in K-12, healthcare, hospitality, and multifamily sectors.
- Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and safety standards.
- Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- OSHA 30 certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
