Job Opportunity: Superintendent / Senior Superintendent – Water & Wastewater

About the Role: Our client is seeking a seasoned Superintendent or Senior Superintendent with a strong background in water and wastewater construction to join our growing team in the Southeast. This field leadership role is responsible for managing daily operations on active construction sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct all job site field personnel and daily construction activities.
- Lead $20-$200M Projects
- Maintain jobsite safety and enforce compliance with safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure construction quality control and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, equipment, and labor resources.
- Maintain accurate field documentation: daily reports, progress photos, as-builts.
- Support material management including receiving, storage, and inventory.
- Oversee short-term scheduling and look-ahead planning.
- Conduct inspections and coordinate with regulatory agencies.
- Manage small tools, jobsite security, and site cleanliness.
- Identify scope changes and communicate with the Project Manager.
- Deliver projects within schedule and budget requirements.
- Participate in project reviews and contribute to post-construction evaluations.
Qualifications
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in water/wastewater construction supervision.
- Demonstrated success leading field operations on large, complex projects. Water / Wastewater Treatment Plants.
- Strong experience with self-perform concrete, piping, and mechanical installations.
- Solid knowledge of contract documents, safety protocols, and construction sequencing.
- Excellent communication and personnel management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); field management software a plus.
- Current certifications preferred: OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR, SWPPP, trenching, rigging, fall protection, confined space.
- History of delivering multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects successfully.
