Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor
Location: Baghdad – Al-Karkh
Department: Logistics / Supply Chain
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee operations across three or more warehouses supporting our infrastructure projects in roads, bridges, and asphalt. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient inventory management, timely material dispatch, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations across multiple sites.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and dispatch of construction materials (e.g., asphalt, aggregates, machinery parts).
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate stock records using ERP or warehouse management systems.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and housekeeping standards.
- Lead and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators and loaders.
- Collaborate with procurement, project managers, and transport teams to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and material flow to improve efficiency.
- Prepare reports on stock movement, damages, and discrepancies.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse supervision, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
- Strong knowledge of materials used in road and bridge construction.
- Experience managing multiple warehouse locations is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in inventory software and Microsoft Office.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Valid forklift license is a plus.
