Associate General Counsel
San Antonio, TX (on-site/hybrid)

I am actively seeking an Associate General Counsel to promote legal soundness at my client's esteemed organization. Ideally, candidates will be interested in growing along with the company, and working in the renewables sector!

Responsibilities:

• Increase regulatory success and offer support while working alongside the VP Legal.
• Keep up to date with legal developments, risk factors, and timelines for the company's solar developments and chemicals business.
• Aid company with EPC, tax equity, sales, land acquisition, transport agreements, transmission and interconnection, finance, supply, PPAs, and PSAs/MIPAs.
• Negotiate and formulate agreements.
• Handle legal/corporate records

  Requirements: 

• Licensed to practice law in TX; or another state with capability to promptly obtain licensure to practice in Texas through reciprocity.
• Juris Doctor Degree required.
• 3+ years of experience as a practicing lawyer working with mergers and acquisitions, real estate, or commercial transactions.
• Ideally experienced in the renewables industry or related.
• Independent and ethical professional who is eager to learn.
• Efficient negotiator and communicator
