Thinking about a career in recruitment?

If you’re reading this, you’re probably considering a career in recruitment, possibly at WRS. Recruitment attracts a variety of people with different backgrounds and experiences, often drawn to the industry by the fantastic earning potential. We believe it’s the continual career progression and personal development that makes people want to stay.

What’s it all about?

The job of a Recruitment Consultant appears to be pretty easy: we introduce businesses (clients) to people who would like to work for them (candidates). Sounds simple? Now try managing a database with thousands of candidates, matching them to multiple vacancies in a number of different companies globally whilst competing with rival recruitment agencies to get your candidate the job. On top of that, you’ll need to account manage your key clients and business develop to bring in new ones. There is a reason why so many successful consultants are very organised and proactive in the way they work!

The aim is to build up a network of contacts so you’re running your own recruitment business within a business. To help you get there, WRS has a workforce of skilled consultants, offering you the benefit of their experience through advising you on tried and tested techniques. You’ll have the autonomy to create your own way of working – we might even learn a thing or two from you!

Sounds right for you?

If we were to describe the qualities of a great recruiter, we’d say they would be competitive, resilient and a great communicator. If that sounds like you and you’re enthusiastic about a career in Recruitment, then together with our Training and Progression Programme, we’ll support you through you the rest.

We have a wide variety of vacancies for Recruitment Consultants at all levels at our sales offices in Altrincham, Manchester in the UK, Singapore and Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Don't feel that the role of a Recruitment Consultant is quite right for you? If you are interested in working for one of our internal departments; Finance and Accounting personnel, Global Mobility, Marketing, Bids & Tenders and Quality Management, Internal Recruitment and Learning & Development, we’d love to hear from you also.

As a rapidly expanding global company with a number of other international offices planned to open in 2016/2017, a career with WRS could take you anywhere in the world.
