Bid Strategy Manager - Germany

My client are one of Europe's leading providers of renewable energy solutions, partners with forward-thinking individuals and organisations to drive the energy transition. With 20+ years of experience and 7GW of secured projects across Europe in their pipeline they are set to make a considerable impact on the renewable energy industry. Headquartered in Germany and with offices in France and Spain my client are looking to hire a Bid Strategy Manager in Germany to work on further developing their Offshore Wind project pipeline. 

Key Responsibilities;
  • Develop central bid strategy frameworks and inter-dependency mapping for their EU mid-term bid schedule, ensuring resource alignment.
  • Analyse auction requirements and market conditions, communicating insights to the team and country-based bid teams for effective bidding tactics.
  • Coordinate bid activities, tracking progress and identifying emerging quality risks and win probabilities.
  • Collaborate closely with regional offshore wind teams, sharing models, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance performance.
Desirable experience;
  • You possess a degree in Business Administration or Engineering.
  • With over 5 years in the offshore wind industry, your expertise lies primarily in the commercial domain.
  • You hold a profound grasp of tender/auction procedures within offshore wind and have a proven history of successful power sector auction submissions, preferably within offshore wind.
  • Your engagement in global projects showcases your adeptness in coordinating diverse internal and external teams.
  • Fluent in English and proficient in German, additional languages are considered advantageous.
