Are you an experienced commercial lead in the offshore wind industry looking for a new challenge?

I am currently recruiting for a Commercial Director for a project Taiwan. The role allows for candidates to be based in Taiwan, UK or Hamburg Germany. You will working closely alongside the Project Director and EPC Director to drive commercial management of the project, coordinating and supervising the project’s commercial functions ensuring that budgets, as well as business case assumptions/targets are defined, robust, progressing and achieved. 

Tasks;

• Overseeing and coordinating the following areas: non-EPC procurement, risk, controlling, claims, legal, project finance, power purchase agreements, valuation, customs, and tax.
• Implementing adequate controls, monitoring, and regular reporting of key project financial/commercial information.
• Lead BC and budgeting development and control processes (from input to quality assurance to change management).
• Interfacing with Partnering, JV Management, Investor Relations

Essential requirements;

• Proven track record in dealing with business critical, commercial, highly complex objectives and challenges, preferably from offshore wind and an international organisation.
• Energetic, communicative, and inspiring/convincing leader able to focus on both business and people.
• Experience from working globally across different cultures is preferred.
