Job description
WRS are looking for a Cook (with Cook CoC) to travel to Australia ASAP to join a Survey vessel for 2 months.
The vessel is preparing for a 2-year project in Philippines. The work scope will be ROV and Surrey subsea operations.
Due to Visa restrictions and tight timeframes need a candidate from one of the following countries - Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Malta, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Netherlands, UK or USA.
On Target Earnings Pay Rates (OTE)
Your OTE Pay is €144.00 per day on a consolidated basis paid Gross (free of tax deductions), and you will be employed by Atlantic Crewing Services Ltd (BVI) which is part of our group of companies. This OTE pay is made up of the following:
1. Consolidated Rate of Pay
€120.00 per day and always becomes applicable when the ship is preparing for or on a charter contract, and during mobilization and de-mobilization voyages when we are receiving mobilization or de-mobilization fees.
2. Preparation Bonus
The rate of €15.00 per day is applicable during the ship's preparation for the charter and remains payable until the Sea Time rate becomes payable.
3. Catering Bonus
In cases where applicable, a catering bonus of €0.50 per client meal served on board is provided to the charterers, not the crew. This payment is issued instead of the sea time; both are not received concurrently. The payment is made one month in arrears.
4. Sea Time Pay
€15.00 per day calculated on a 24-hour pro rata for part days while at sea or anchorage. Paid one month in arrears.
NOTE - ‘Off Hire’ Pay
In the event that the ship is to be laid up or taken off-hire due to a breakdown, your pay will be reduced to €110.00 per day. This is only applicable when the ship is off-hire. Please note that Vessel mobilisation, reactivation and transit voyages to/from charter contracts are treated as ‘On-Hire
Time’ and you will be paid at the full rate. The ‘Off Hire’ rate is only applied in the event the ship is not ‘On-Hire’ and not on a fee-paying Mobilization or De-mobilization voyage. This is calculated automatically and applied according to the vessel's daily reports.
