Are you a seasoned professional in the maritime industry with expertise in Dynamic Positioning (DP) and electrical systems? We're seeking a talented Manager to join a team in Singapore and play a pivotal role in managing the electrical and DP aspects for our clients vessels.

JOB OVERVIEW:

As the Manager, Electrical and DP, you will be responsible for overseeing all Dynamic Positioning (DP) and electrical aspects for a fleet of AHTS vessels. Reporting functionally and hierarchically to the Engineering Manager, you will lead efforts to ensure operational excellence, resolve technical issues, and drive continuous improvement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Review and address fleet DP-related issues, ensuring root cause analysis, corrective actions, and system enhancements.
-Develop and implement electrical technical policies and procedures, covering fleet operations and technical projects.
-Participate in the evaluation and selection of electrical equipment for new building projects.
-Analyse fleet DP and electrical issues, providing technical support to regional Outport management.
-Facilitate training sessions for seafarers in DP maintenance and conduct remote Annual DP Trials.
-Manage DP-related documentation and upgrade projects for critical components.
-Contribute to DP operations improvement and assurance activities, including ASOG/FMEA review and annual trials planning.
-Engage with industry workgroups such as IMCA and MTS to drive best practices in DP operations.

INTERNAL/EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Collaborate with all Singapore staff, customers, approved vendors, and contractors.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, WORK EXPERIENCE:

-Degree in Engineering is required.
-Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience, including leadership roles.
-In-depth knowledge of DP vessels.
-Strong technical aptitude, global mindset, and action-oriented approach.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills.
