Electrical Project Manager

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project feasibility and alignment with goals.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and manage project budgets. Monitor expenses and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel. Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee the quality of work at all stages of construction. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and building codes.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Address any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
  • Client Communication: Serve as the main point of contact for clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure all work is performed in accordance with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and methods.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • PMP certification is preferred but not required.
