Job Overview:

Seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to play a key role in supporting the Financial health and strategic decision-making by providing insightful analysis and financial reporting.


Responsibilities:
 

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow statement) according to accounting standards.
• Analyze Financial data to identify trends, assess Financial performance, and measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
• Create Financial reports and presentations for management, clearly communication key financial metrics and insights.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial budgets aligned with organizational objectives and marketing strategies.
• Perform financial forecasting to estimate future revenues, expenses and profitability.
• Monitoring differences between budget and actual performance and making recommendations for course correction.
• Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the financial impact of potential marketing campaigns, investments and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct scenario planning to evaluate various business decisions and their financial implications.
• Maintain and ensure the accuracy of financial data within our accounting system.
• Participate in internal control processes to protect the integrity of financial information.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitor analysis, and economic factors that affect the business industry.
• Analyze market data to identify cost saving opportunities and optimize marketing spend.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or any related field.
- Fluent in English, & native Kurdish if Local.
-Fluent in English with knowledge or work experience in middle east for expats.
-Minimum 8 years of experience as a financial analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
-Proficiency in financial modeling using spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel, Quick Books, Xero and other ERP systems
-Excellent communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
-Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) or international financial principles & Reporting Standards (IFRS).
-Strong relationship with detail and accuracy.
-Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
