Head of Operations

Our company has partnered with a Global Internet and E-commerce Company to source for their Technology Team. This role will be based in Singapore.
It will oversee all operations except for IT, Finance and Marketing Department. The incumbent is responsible for strategic goals and formulating plans to make sure those goals are met for overall success of the department.

Job Responsibilities
  • Establish relationships with industry and marketing experts.
  • Ensure company policies and guidelines are communicated all the way from the top down in the company and that they are followed at all times.
  • Developing and executing the Company’s business strategies.
  • Provide strategic advice to the CEO.
  • Project management and develop strategic operating business plans.
  • Analyze problematic situations and occurrences and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth
  • Provide leadership and motivation to all employees.
  • Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
  • Thorough knowledge of market changes and forces that influence the company
  • Develop reporting tools to monitor ongoing performance of company.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, business administration, or related field; master’s degree or Post graduate qualifications preferred
  • 15 - 20+ years of relevant experience as managing director or related title in industry.
  • Must possess working experience in stock broking industry in Singapore and/or regionally (operations and customer service).
  • Up to date on latest industry trends, able to articulate trends, clearly and confidently.
  • Familiar with corporate and management best practices.
  • Encouraging to team and employees; able to mentor and lead.
  • Able to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of company, business, brand, and product; understanding of the company and its position in the market/industry.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
