This position offers the opportunity to engage in the installation of a jacket and topsides, along with the associated subsea infrastructure for a significant field development in the Black Sea.
 
The primary role of the Lead Operations Engineer is to oversee the readiness of the semi-submersible heavy lift vessel and its associated marine spread, serving as the project representative on-board the vessel during offshore construction activities.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Develop and prepare technical documentation for assigned work packages.
  • Monitor the procurement and logistics plan for assigned work packages.
  • Review installation engineering for assigned work packages.
  • Lead subcontracting activities related to assigned work packages.
  • Interface with the Vessel Management Team, ASSET, and OPERATIONS departments regarding Mobile Assets and vessel preparations.
  • Coordinate project qualifications and tests (FAT/SIT) with fabrication yards.
  • Oversee the mobilisation and demobilisation activities of the vessel and associated marine spread.
  • Interface with the Project Marine Advisor for vessel vetting (Marine assurance plan).
  • Participate in the Operations Review and Project Risk Assessment processes.
  • Coordinate offshore operations on-board the vessel as the project representative.
  • Oversee the project close-out and invoicing process.
  • Support the Project Operations Manager (or delegate) in ensuring the vessel's readiness.
