Great opportunity with a client that owns over 40GW of power generation facilities, across 52 stations in 23 countries!  They are currently looking for an Offshore Wind Origination & Bid Manager.  The Offshore Wind Origination and Bid Manager will review and appraise new floating offshore
wind markets in Europe and support in developing these opportunities. This will include building relationships with stakeholders, supporting the formation of project partnerships, managing early development works, and managing the preparation of bids for securing development rights.

Experience required includes;

 - Engineering Degree or equivalent
 - 8 years professional experience with either i) IPP developer, ii) consulting company, or iii) EPC contractor, in each case in the renewable power sector.
 - Extensive experience of the wind energy industry is essential, preferably with offshore wind farms.
 - Understanding of offshore wind early development phase including consenting and conceptual design.
 - Understanding of floating offshore wind technology and development considerations.
 - Project management expertise is highly desirable and a track record of success including good HSE performance on previous projects is required.
 - Ability to work within a Joint Venture multidisciplinary team and to manage external advisors.
 - Thorough understanding of the commercial issues relating to wind farm development is important with an understanding of commercial implications of technical assumptions.
