At WRS we are working with one of the market leaders in commmercial solar installations in the UK, and they are looking for an Operations Director. The role will be operating solar installations safely with a focus on client service and quality nationwide. You will have an electrical background and will be experienced in leading large teams and operations throughout the UK. 


The person:

• Strong operational experience and proven experience of large scale electrical or mechanical installation, construction or capital project deployment on a multi-site basis through multi skilled labour teams.
• Solar energy or electrical installation experience on a national scale would be advantageous.
• The individual may have related (electrical qualifications and on-site certifications), although this is not essential.
• The ability to immediately take charge of the existing operational organisation and grow capacity, number of teams (or sub-contractors) and develop the scale of the operation is essential to meet the aspirations of the business.
• Management of procurement, logistic, quality and health and safety processes will be required.

The role is based in the clients office based in Lancashire and will require travel.
