WRS are seeking an Onshore Operations Safety & Environment Coach for a global operating company.

It is offered on a long term contract in East Africa on rotation 28/28. Accommodation and Food are provided.  

Requirements

• Experience coaching other HSE/locals in all areas 
• A minimum of 10 years in an equivalent position in Drilling and Wells in operations - Onshore 
• HND minimum
• HSE Background preferred, but candidates with proven track record on Drilling and wells operations will be considered
• Certification preferred: Risks & Human factor; Cause tree analysis, Respect of environment in operations, Oil Spill Clearance.
• Strong communication skills, leadership skills and the ability to work with and motivate employees on all levels of the organization.
• Experience with SIMOPS
• Prefer onshore in HSE role more than 3 yrs
• Understanding of building a safety culture
• Knowledge of HSE software eg synergy
• Fundamental knowledge of lifting assessment, manual handling etc.
• Experience of making intervention and having safety conversations.
• Experienced in absolute investigation either as investigation leader or team member.
• Experience of leading safety assessments, toolbox talks etc
• Experience in Oil Spill Clearance
