WRS are looking for a Project development manager on behalf of our client.

As a Project development manager, You will initially be covering early phase development activities with a view to working on the development project life cycle including site selection, project scheduling, budgeting, consenting, and Environmental Impact Assessment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing development activities for the identification and progress of new project development opportunities.
• Assist with procurement and management of suppliers and external consultants.
• Working with colleagues in support of offshore and onshore development activities.
• Engage with regulators, statutory bodies, communities and other stakeholders.

Essential experience/ Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in subject relevant to development, planning, environmental assessment and consenting activities, preferably with a marine focus.
• Relevant development experience within multidisciplinary environment.
• Proven ability to work within agreed budgets and programmes
• Understanding of development stages required for an offshore renewable energy project.
• Strong planning, organisation and analysis skills with affinity for problem solving.
• Ability to assist in the management of external consultants and subject specialists for development activities.
• Previous proven experience within the Offshore Wind industry with a clear focus on project development activities.
