WRS are looking for a site based Project Engineer for a 12 month contract - 4/4 rotation

Role and Responsibilities 

- Manage a portfolio of mechanical / pipeline / structural modifications 
- Identify material requirements, initiate and follow up procurement 
- Facilitate assessments for design and construction 
- Interface with Technical Authorities on scope of requirement and technical standards
- Interface with E&P Contractor 
- Interface with Construction department 
- Input to detailed plan for modifications 


Budgets & Cost 

- Maintain job specific forecasting mechanism to reflect budget status 
- Prepare estimates for new works and progress funding 
- Track commitments and expenditure 


Cost Control 

- Manage cost performance against agreed budgets 


Experience/Qualifications Required 

- Degree in Engineering 
- 5 years experience with mechanical/civil discipline
- 4 years experience in Project Engineering 


Skills 

- Working knowledge of the standards, design, construction, operation and maintenance of the systems and equipment used in the industry 
- Project and operation planning principles and systems 
- Team player, committed to building good working relationships 


Languages 

- English (Essential) 
- French (Advantageous)
