Purchasing Manager (Residential) - Gibsonton, FL

Job description

Position requires a passionate and effective individual who can multi-task, meet deadlines and enjoys details. They will execute purchasing and cost control systems as well as play an important role in customer quotes. The ideal candidate will have significant purchasing experience in residential construction as well as the following qualifications:


· Minimum of 4 years experience in purchasing for a residential builder.

· Energetic, organized and detail oriented.

· Exceptional computing skills and be able to learn new software

· Excellent communication and negotiation skills

· Solid knowledge of residential building practices.

· Full understanding of building materials from foundation to finish

· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.

· Work well with other people - team player and willing to backup other positions.

· Bachelors degree, advanced degree a plus.

· Field construction experience a plus.

Job Type: Full-time


  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
