On behalf of a major Oil and Gas national oil company, I am searching for a Senior Legal Advisor to join them in their KL office in Malaysia.
This will be a 2 year (renewable) contract. 

KEY OBJECTIVES

• Support the Head of Legal in reviewing agreements/contracts and in negotiations.
• Support the Head of Legal in other matters including insurance matters, corporate secretarial, procurement technical clarification, procurement post-award issues, external relation and investor’s relation matters where necessary.
• Provide risk assessment and legal impact of business decisions with regard to the Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs), Joint Operating Agreements (JOA) and other upstream agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 years experience (post admission to the Malaysian Bar).
• Minimum 8 years experience in oil and gas.

This role is ideally looking for Malaysian nationals with a strong background in the oil and gas industry.
