We are in search of a highly experienced Mechanical Engineer with a robust proficiency in designing process plant equipment.
This opportunity stands as a significant milestone in advancing large-scale green ammonia projects worldwide, marking a pivotal stride towards decarbonising the energy sector and attaining global sustainability objectives.
Responsibilities
- Assess and evaluate electrolyser equipment to ensure compliance with rigorous technical, safety, and reliability criteria.
- Proactively engage with suppliers and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to stay updated on market trends.
- Review and approve documentation and specifications produced by the Owner’s Engineering team and/or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contractor(s) related to process plant equipment.
- Work closely with the Technical Director to oversee the technical aspects of the green hydrogen project, managing all stages from feasibility to successful completion.
- Supervise the Owners Engineering team, fostering seamless coordination and efficient project execution.
- Collaborate with the environmental team and external contractors to identify emissions associated with process plant equipment, aiding in the Environmental Impact Assessment.
- Assist in preparing and submitting permit applications, proactively addressing permit requirements to expedite approvals.
- Provide critical technical input for risk registers and project risk mitigation strategies.
- Compile and present key project feasibility reports
- Master degree in mechanical engineering.
- 10+ years of experience in practical work in basic and detail engineering of process plant equipment.
