I am searching for a Senior Procurement and Contract Manager in Italy with experience in offshore wind to join a leading offshore wind developer.

My client is a leading offshore wind developer and have expanded to Italy, where it recently opened an office in the centre of Milan to manage some of the first-ever commercial scale floating offshore wind projects in Europe. We are now looking for a talented and driven Senior Procurement and Contract Manager to join the team, and be responsible for the development and execution of the procurement strategy on floating foundations (design, fabrication and assembly)

Your profile:

• A master’s degree in (commercial) law, business administration, engineering or an equivalent qualification 
• Understanding of large infrastructure projects, the ability to work in the interface between technical, commercial and legal aspects and a strong sense of value and risk drivers 
• Experience in large marine structures fabrication or manufacturing of complex steel structures or similar industries. Experience in offshore wind is a preference but not a requirement
• Business acumen, commercial creativity and strong negotiation skills 
• Perseverance and an ability to prioritise and execute tasks to meet deadlines
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and inter-personal skills enabling you to perform in different cultures and at all organisational/seniority levels 
• Fluently in English. Knowledge of Italian is a preference but not a requirement
