Senior Transmission Developer
Location: Minnetonka, MN
Option to be remote with regular HQ visits

The Senior Developer for Transmission will lead efforts on high-voltage transmission projects for the company. They will coordinate with developers as well as technical, real estate, legal, design, and construction teams. With effective coordination, this role will ensure projects progress through construction and operation in time and in budget. This role will establish and maintain external relationships with interconnecting transmission owners, ROW services, survey, design, engineering, environmental, and biological diligence firms in the industry. This role will report to the CDO of the company.

  • Direct development efforts of high-voltage transmission lines
  • Manage development budget and resources
  • Exhibit strong project management skills and resource coordination
  • Develop effective mitigation strategies to address schedule and budget constraints
  • Keep management team updated on project progress and developments
  • Coordinate with company teams and provide sound direction to reporting Developers, Associate Developers, or specialists
  • Participate in M&A activities that pertain to the development and construction of transmission lines
  • Monitor transmission trends within development regions
  • Provide guidance and direction on real estate, easement, ROW, and permitting matters
  • Critically assess all third-party work for consistency and quality

  • 5+ years of experience within consulting, utility, or development organizations with significant utility-scale transmission development experience


Annual salary based on experience
Opportunity for 20% annual target bonus
