Are you on the lookout for a new opportunity? Our client is seeking a Senior Wind Analyst to join them on their journey to a sustainable future.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 

• Oversee wind farm design and energy assessments, leading technology assessments and supporting procurement processes. Stay updated on the latest wind energy modeling techniques to provide informed recommendations.
• Utilise software packages like AutoCAD, WindPro, and WindFarmer for data monitoring program planning. Mentor junior staff and supervise met mast and lidar data management.
• Review noise and shadow flicker assessments and turbine supplier documents, providing expert input into turbine contracts. Manage external consultants and contractors in coordination with various business functions.
• Support project entry into auctions (RESS, ORESS, CFD, PPA) and provide energy-related assurances for joint venture projects. Lead wind farm due diligence and report energy results to key stakeholders.

 
Essential:

• 7 years of progressive experience in wind analysis and related disciplines. Proficient in wind design software (WindPRO, WindFarmer, OpenWind).
• Strong understanding of wind turbine technology, wind resource assessment, and wind farm due diligence. Onshore and offshore wind experience is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience managing contractors and consultants. Flexibility for national and international travel.
