Role: Subsea Engineer
Location: Kuala Lumpur
Contract: 1-2 Years (Renewable)

Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with company and industry HSE standards throughout subsea operations.
Coordinate maintenance activities for subsea production systems, including troubleshooting and ROV operations.
Support subsea project interfaces for brownfield development.
Provide engineering support for well intervention and future expansions.
Develop troubleshooting procedures and maintenance strategies.
Oversee engineering work by contractors and participate in risk assessments.
Assist in managing subsea operations contracts, finances, and budgets.
Act as liaison between technical and commercial teams.
Aid in developing contract plans and monitoring costs.
Maintain contracts database and purchase order system.
Coordinate final work acceptance and associated payments.
Assist in preparing contract bid packages.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
5-10 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, with at least 5 years focused on subsea hardware/structure.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
This role requires supporting offshore development and operations as necessary.
