Job Title: Well Control Engineer

Support the safe execution of well activities in a specialized field. Provide expertise in well control engineering, design, and incident response, ensuring alignment with processes, policies, and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Expertise in Well Control Engineering, Design, and Contingency Planning.
  • Specialized modeling for kick tolerance, relief well planning, and MGS analysis.
  • Aid high-risk operation planning with well control considerations.
  • Assist in well control incidents and investigations.
  • Share lessons through the Well Control Community of Practice.
  • Collaborate on tech advancements with service providers.
  • Develop, maintain, and apply well control standards.
  • Contribute to industry standards with industry groups.
  • Support Wells OMS and unity within the organization.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field.
  • 10+ years' track record in engineering, planning, and operations.
  • Provide technical expertise and effective guidance.
  • Proficient in well control modeling and simulations.
  • Hold Well Control Certification, incl. Combined Surface/Subsea Supervisor.
