Job Title: Well Control Engineer
Support the safe execution of well activities in a specialized field. Provide expertise in well control engineering, design, and incident response, ensuring alignment with processes, policies, and regulations.

Support the safe execution of well activities in a specialized field. Provide expertise in well control engineering, design, and incident response, ensuring alignment with processes, policies, and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Expertise in Well Control Engineering, Design, and Contingency Planning.
- Specialized modeling for kick tolerance, relief well planning, and MGS analysis.
- Aid high-risk operation planning with well control considerations.
- Assist in well control incidents and investigations.
- Share lessons through the Well Control Community of Practice.
- Collaborate on tech advancements with service providers.
- Develop, maintain, and apply well control standards.
- Contribute to industry standards with industry groups.
- Support Wells OMS and unity within the organization.
- Bachelor of Science in engineering or related field.
- 10+ years' track record in engineering, planning, and operations.
- Provide technical expertise and effective guidance.
- Proficient in well control modeling and simulations.
- Hold Well Control Certification, incl. Combined Surface/Subsea Supervisor.
- Strong drilling engineering and operations knowledge.
- Casing, wellhead recovery, and design.
- Cost-effective decision-making.
- Crisis and emergency response.
- Drilling data acquisition and monitoring.
- Drilling fluids and operations.
- Equipment integrity assurance.
- Managed Pressure Drilling.
- Process Safety Management.
- Risk management.
- Rig and vessel operations.
