Responsibilities
- Support Lot Manager and Package Manager in managing ECW construction contracts and activities, monitoring contractor achievements, and reviewing change orders related to construction.
- Control ECW construction package quality, cost, and progress according to approved project requirements, budget, and schedule.
- Promote cost reduction initiatives and optimise costs to achieve value.
- Assist in monitoring and mitigating project risks.
- Organise and propose the construction team for LOT 1, working efficiently with a multi-disciplinary technical team and integrating partner secondees as needed.
- Coordinate fully with the construction team to ensure efficient use of project resources and effective implementation of Quality Surveillance teams.
- Ensure construction subcontractors implement the project National Content plan and Environmental & Social mitigations plan.
- Supervise teams under your responsibility, ensuring they receive adequate instruction and training to perform safely.
- Act as the construction ECW site lead.
- Degree: BSc (or equivalent) in a recognised engineering discipline, preferably Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years, with at least 5 years in the Oil & Gas industry on similar large-scale projects.
- Ability to adapt and represent the company in discussions, negotiations, and meetings with contractors, partners, and regulatory authorities.
- Effective leadership and team management skills; strong organisational ability; ability to work in a multi-cultural business environment; good interpersonal and communication skills; strong motivational skills.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
