Civil Engineer - Dubai

On behalf of a major PMC, WRS are searching for a Civil Engineer to work in Dubai on a contract basis. This will be a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Dubai, paying an hourly rate in USD.

The role will be supporting a gas field expansion project, which is going into EPC phase

Job Duties:

• Supervision of civil and structural engineering execution in detailed design, production of calculations for heavy equipment foundations, buildings and steel structures.
• EPC/FEED Analysis and design of modular steel structures including sea transportation, lifting analysis, skidding analysis, load out and stress analysis.
• EPC/FEED Design of structural steel and precast pipe racks.
• EPC/FEED Design of structural steel technological structures, process plant structures.
• EPC/FEED Design of blast resistant buildings.
• EPC/FEED Design of compressor/table top, pumps and similar types of machine foundations.

Candidate Requirements 

• Relevant Engineering Degree 
• Previous experience working for a PMC, overseeing EPC contractors
• Experience working on similar projects
• Experience working on EPC phase projects
