Business Development Manager - Solar Energy - Germany

About the Company:
Our esteemed client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector headquartered in Poland, is actively seeking a talented Business Development Manager to spearhead initiatives in Romania, Germany, Portugal and Spain.

Responsibilities:
As a key player in our growth, you will:
  • Market Research: Prepare comprehensive market research, identifying EPC & O&M clients and lucrative opportunities.
  • Customer Acquisition: Proactively acquire new customers, showcasing our innovative solutions and building lasting relationships.
  • Preparation of market research, identify EPC & O&M clients and opportunities
  • Local Entity Representation: Create and represent a local entity in each specified market, establishing a strong presence.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations in close collaboration with the Business Development team in Poland, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Strategic Network Building: Develop a sustainable strategic network, collaborating with local specialists/subcontractors and other key stakeholders.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare compelling proposals, defining appropriate price levels to secure projects in each specific market.
  • Office Structure Establishment: Establish office structures and processes for seamless administrative operations.
  • Local Requirement Examination: Examine local requirements essential for project implementation, including administrative, legal, and construction aspects.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Renewable Energies, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience within the solar energy sector in Romania, Germany, or Spain.
  • Proven track record in building teams, businesses, or business units in dynamic environments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the local market, including clients, suppliers, market regulations, and all relevant local requirements.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English and Spanish/German/Romanian.
  • Willingness to travel and represent the company in various commercial engagements.
