Commercial Manager - Rotterdam

On behalf of a major EPC company, WRS are looking for a Commercial Manager to join a project in Rotterdam on a contract basis. This will ber a 12 month renewable contract, based residentially in Rotterdam, paying an hourly rate in Euro.

The role will be supporting the development of one of Europe’s largest commercial green hydrogen production facilities.

Job Duties Include:

• Preparation of contracting strategies, expressions of interest/ pre-qualifications, invitations to tender, tender management (receipt, analysis, clarification), conditions of contract and commercial negotiations and recommendation to award.
• Post-award tracking of contractual requirements for submission of deliverables and notices, analysis of solicitations for potential changes or claims, preparation of summaries and development of strategies and recommendations with attention to the financial and business risk associated.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Law, Finance, Management, or Quantity Surveying (Technology or equivalent) along with appropriate professional qualification (preferred)
• 15 years’ experience in a similar role
• A sound knowledge of different contracting strategies, the pros, and cons of different approaches
• Experience managing project commercial issues in the oil and gas, petrochemical and renewable energy and energy transition contracting environments.
• Right to work in the EU
