Role: Cost Engineer
Location: Rome
Contract: 18 Months 
 
The Cost Engineer role involves providing advisory support to the project management team on cost-related activities, acting as a liaison between the Business Team and other project stakeholders.
 
Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate project issues to Project Manager and Business Administrator.
• Develop and maintain cost reports, cash flow, and contingency analyses for projects.
• Ensure accuracy of cost documents throughout the construction phase.
• Assist in managing AEL values and monitor billable office space.
• Alert relevant offices and project team to critical cost management issues.
• Provide support for additional cost management studies if needed.
• Prepare monthly project updates.
• Review Contractor Progress Payment Certificates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• 5-10 years of experience in Cost Management, with minimum 3 years on Mega Capital projects.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
