Deputy Casebook Manager
Job description
Currently I am looking for a Deputy Casebook Manager to be based out of Japan, working for a leading global player in renewables and offshore wind.
The Development Optimisation and Pipeline Management team is your home. You will also be working closely with peers in a global Casebook Management team and alongside colleagues focused on development pipeline optimisation, continuous improvement and strategic projects. You will be assigned into project teams in regions globally within the matrix organisation. Responding to the company’s growth pipeline your project(s) maybe situated in your home region or further afield

Other responsibilities include:
- You will act as a Buddy and help to onboard and train junior Casebook Managers
- Co-ordinate across the project team the Casebook: a structured overview of all relevant project business cases assumptions
- Be responsible for site prospecting; including coordination of all inputs to enable ranking of possible site locations as well as permitting, grid access. Calculation of LCOEs to enable comparison of prospective sites.
- Support bid work stream development to prepare and submit tender documentation and bids
Successful applicants will have:
- Fluency in spoken and written English and minimum one additional language in Japanese, Korean or Mandarin
- 2-3 years relevant work experience in offshore wind or related Levelised Cost of Energy calculations is expected.
- Degree in business administration, engineering, renewable energy or similar numeric subject is expected
- Flair for handling & manipulating data to forecast, derive trends and test sensitivities
