Drilling & Wells QC/QC Engineer

On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, WRS are looking for a Drilling & Wells QA/QC Engineer to work in Italy on a contract basis. This will be a 12 month renewable contract, working out of the client's offices Guardia Perticara, paying a day rate in EURO.

The role will be supporting an onshore development project in Italy

Job Duties include

• General Operational Support: provide input and support to Operational Personnel during Daily Drilling Meetings, Pre Spud Meetings, HAZID & HAZOP studies and other such forums as may be required i.e. SRM, SQM, RCA’s etc , record, track and follow up on operational & equipment failures
• Vendor Performance Monitoring: Initiate, progress, follow up of performance failure investigations with Vendor’s & Service Providers, present investigation findings to DW to facilitate close out, coordinate, schedule and facilitate Supplier Quality Meetings (SQM), scheduling, facilitating, leading and following up Company Compliance & Management System Audits of Vendor & Service Providers
• Company Inspection & Assurance Process:  overview the coordination and execution of Asset specific inspection assignments and follow up and resolve any inspection findings or non-conformances, review and approval of Vendor & Service Providers Quality Assurance and Inspection & Test Plans

Ideal canddiate will have

• BSc degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years associated experience in an oilfield service or manufacturing environment
• Experience working within QHSE management, systems and processes environment.
• Proficient in statistical Qualitative and related Ops Data Analysis.
• Proficient Knowledge of Drilling and Wells operations / equipment and the application of Quality Assurance.
• Right to work in Italy
