Field Superintendent
The Field Superintendent oversees and manages all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain detailed reports for the Project Manager.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly and efficiently.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to schedules.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and team members.
  • Manage site logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and laborers.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Capacity to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment as needed.
