The Field Superintendent oversees and manages all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.

The Field Superintendent oversees and manages all on-site construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of construction processes and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Monitor project progress and maintain detailed reports for the Project Manager.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to schedules.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and team members.
- Manage site logistics, including the delivery and storage of materials.
- Train and mentor junior staff and laborers.
- Proven experience as a Field Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role in construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Capacity to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment as needed.
