Job Title: Low Voltage Systems Designer

Location: Tampa Bay, FL 

About the Position: As the Low Voltage Systems Designer, you will manage reviewing and interpreting project documents to provide complete code-compliant designs inclusive of device layouts, system circuitry, calculations, and detailed drawings for the Low Voltage Systems division. 

Position Details/Responsibilities:

• Design low voltage systems, including intrusion, access control, CCTV, DAS, LAN & Wi-Fi Networks, etc., for commercial and multifamily applications.
• Act as a resource, providing technical assistance for projects during bidding, design, permitting, and construction.
• Provide efficiency reviews and/or value engineering options for existing designs.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and project personnel.
• Design code-compliant, contract-compliant, and cost-effective systems while reviewing scopes of work, specifications, plans, and legal contracts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5-8 years' experience with Low Voltage Systems design.
• Exposure to large-scale commercial construction projects preferred 
• Proficiency with AutoCAD is required; Revit (BIM) and Bluebeam Revu are preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
