At WRS we are delighted to be recruiting for the experts in business risk management. They are looking for a highly skilled Market Manager in the energy sector to join their team in Italy.
 
We are looking for someone who has had several year experience of working at a senior level in the Energy Sector with a focus on Renewable and energy transition solutions.
 
For this role the main responsibilities include:

• Drives sales, by managing the growth and increasing order intake for defined market areas.
• Have a strong influence on project pricing, resourcing, and bid quality review across business areas.
• Optimizes the customer experience measured in the CSRI score.
• Internal relation with the Service Area, Delivery, Technical colleagues, and Key Account Managers.
• Monitors and manages the sales from sales qualified leads, to won opportunities.
• Searches for customer insights on strategic direction, including seeking for new customers, market insights, and competitors.
• Maintain an overview of major market trends including analysis of political developments.
• Develops a market strategy for the relevant area or customer division and focuses on business development, including cross- and up-selling activities across the business areas, business units, and services.
• Fosters a relevant internal and external network; identifies, builds, and strengthens relevant customer relationships.
• Acts as a sponsor for key projects, monitors the delivery of services to ensure high quality and consistency, and participates in Cross-sector opportunities.
• Supports the Market Area Manager in strategy and decision-making.

 
A successful candidate will possess the following:

• Master’s degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years experience of working at a senior level in the Energy Sector with a focus on Renewable and energy transition solutions, understanding market drivers and challenges.
• Direct experience in project development and execution of renewable assets in Italy.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement in a team and developing a culture of high-quality delivery mindset for the customer.
• A deep understanding of the Italian market in the renewable sector, with good relations with Project developers, Investors, Financial Institutions, and National Italian governmental institutions having driven renewable initiatives at the country level.
• Excellent relations with players driving the Italian Energy Transition, the Piano Nazionale di Ripresa e Resilienza (PNRR), and other related policies in place at Italian and European levels.

 
Location: Bologna or Milan, Italy
 
Experience:  5+ years’ experience in the Renewable Energy Sector.

Education Required: Master’s degree or equivalent
