Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's programs in Kurdistan, The Programs Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization's impact, fostering partnerships, and promoting sustainable development in the region.
 


Main Duties:

-Lead the strategic planning process, ensuring that programs are designed to address the most pressing needs and contribute to long-term impact.
-Develop and articulate a clear and compelling vision for the NGO's programs in Erbil, aligned with the overall organizational mission and goals.
-Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to enhance impact.
-Represent the organization in key forums, conferences, and meetings to enhance collaboration and resource mobilization.
-Build and maintain strong partnerships with local government agencies, community leaders, NGOs, and other relevant stakeholders.
-Lead and inspire a diverse team of program managers, coordinators, and field staff, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture.
-Oversee the design, development, and implementation of high-impact programs and projects in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
-Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development.
-Work closely with the communications team to develop and implement advocacy strategies that amplify the impact of the organization's programs.
-Oversee the development and management of program budgets, ensuring financial sustainability and accountability.



Requirements:

-Minimum of [7] years of leadership experience in program management within the NGO sector.
-Proven track record of developing and implementing successful programs with measurable impact.
- A strategic thinker with a proven ability to lead and inspire teams, develop a compelling vision for the NGO, and ensure effective program implementation.
-Strong strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
-Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
-Fluent in English & Native in Kurdish.
-Willing to work with different cultures.
