Project Engineer- Retreat-From-Legs Interface

On behalf of an independent operator, WRS are looking for Project Engineer- Conductors to work in Aberdeen on a contract basis. This will be a 24 month renewable contract, working Monday-Friday in the clients' offices in Aberdeen, paying a day rate. Please note that this role will be PAYE INSIDE IR35.

Job Duties include:

• Act as focal point between topsides D&D, EPRD preparations and RFL project.
• Review RFL project deliverables to ensure that they are compatible with topsides D&D scope, as well as activities planned by other stakeholders e.g. Operations & Maintenance, EPRD etc.
• Accompany vendor team in undertaking offshore surveys in support of RFL to ensure that they are reflective of real conditions and constraints.
• Conduct Kick off meeting with vendor team(s) for discrete components of project to clearly communicate requirements and constraints.

Ideal candidate will have:

• MUST have the right to work in the UK
• Higher National Certificate (HNC) in a relevant disciple
• Current Offshore Survival Certificate
• Previous working knowledge of Oil & Gas process plant & equipment
• Prior experience of supporting Shutdown / TAR / major maintenance & overhaul campaigns.
