Position: Real Estate Engagement Manager 

Report to: Director of PD 

Location: On Site in San Antonio, TX 

 

Our client is looking for a Real Estate Engagement Manager that will lead landowner outreach efforts to secure and acquire land for their innovative solar and storage projects. This role involves extensive research, communication with property owners, and facilitating discussions to advance projects to the development stage. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Research parcel ownership and contact information for landowners. 

  • Initiate calls, texts, and emails to prospective landowners to encourage engagement and collaboration. 

  • Conduct in-person visits to landowner properties, ensuring clear communication of development opportunities. 

  • Clearly present and explain the benefits of projects to potential landowners. 

  • Provide comprehensive information about the company and specific projects to enhance landowners' understanding. 

  • Convince interested landowners about the benefits, facilitating their transition to discussions with developers. 

  • Maintain accurate records of all outreach efforts, successful engagements, and transitions to developers. 

  • Collaborate with developers to obtain feedback on landowners and refine engagement strategies. 

Qualifications: 

  • 7+ years of experience in land acquisition, preferably in real estate. 

  • Proficiency in engaging potential landowners through various communication channels. 

  • Negotiation skills and ability to present developmental opportunities persuasively. 

  • Knowledge of GIS and prospecting tools. 

  • Ability to work seamlessly with internal teams for smooth transitions and feedback loops. 

  • Experience with County Appraisal District websites and online courthouse records. 

  • Preferred: Working knowledge of mineral rights, MORs, and relevant databases.
