Are you interested in working for an international company, who provide expert consultancy services across the energy space? I am working on behalf of my client to find a Senior Consultant to specialise in Energy Markets and Strategy and to be based in Germany - flexible location. 

The ideal candidate will be an expert in projects and will be able to take the role as a project manager, as well as be pro-active in selling to new and existing clients. You will be responsible for providing strategic, regulatory, economic and policy advisory services related to current and future energy markets. 

The requirements for this role are as follows:

• Several years of relevant professional work experience 
• Proven track record of managing projects and leading multi-disciplinary high performing project teams of economists, engineers and consultants
• An in-depth practical knowledge of the commercial aspects of the energy markets, an excellent understanding of the functioning of energy markets and the structure of the energy sector
• Experienced in business development and sales
• Master's degree or PhD with major in Economics, Business Administration or Business Engineering with a specialisation in energy
• Demonstrates foresight – knows what is happening in the market, how will it impact customers 
• Understands the technical consequences of a business decision and the business consequences of a technical decision
• Professional or native speaker of German with excellent English language skills (written and spoken)
