Senior Rigid Method Installation Engineer - Paris

Job description

Role: Senior Rigid Method Installation Engineer
Duration: 2 Years
Location: Paris
 
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and oversight of rigid pipe installation methodologies for project/tender support in collaboration with the Rigid Pipelay VDT team.
  • Prepare and execute assigned deliverables and activities under the guidance of the Project Lead.
  • Ensure timely reporting of Installation Engineering activities to management.
  • Uphold document quality and adherence to TechnipFMC Standards for QHSE.
  • Interface with various Subsea Disciplines (Engineering, Operations, QHSE, etc.).
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and expertise consolidation within the engineering team.
  • Introduce innovative methodologies to enhance competitiveness of our proposals.
  • Provide support, as needed, to the Project Lead in overseeing other installation packages or engineers.
  • Monitor the Mooring subcontractor activities.
  • Review methodologies for Rigid pipe Hook-up to FPSO and associated engineering tasks.
Requirements:
  • Hold a Master of Engineering degree (preferably with a focus on Offshore Industry or Naval Architecture) with a minimum of 10 years' experience in installation/operation roles.
  • Strong understanding of offshore installation procedures.
  • Substantial experience in offshore operations, particularly in Rigid pipe laying/installations, and ideally with exposure to Hook-up and/or Mooring operations.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to thrive in a diverse, multicultural environment.
  • Capability to impart knowledge to others.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary to support project operations according to schedule.
  • Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) is essential.
