Senior Site Inspector Civil & Architectural

On behalf of a major EPC client, WRS are looking for a Senior Civil & Architectural Site Inspector to work in Skelleftea, Sweden. This will be on a rotational pattern of 3 weeks on/1 week off, paying a gross hourly rate in SEK.

Job Duties include:
  • Review of contract terms and specifications to ensure clear understanding of technical requirements andprerequisite verification and certification requirements.
  • Undertake and/or coordinate technical review of subcontractor data submissions typically including; quality plans, process and personnel qualifications and construction records and certification.
  • Chair or attend and record pre-inspection meetings when specified by the Site Quality Manager and follow-up implementation and closeout of agreed actions.
  • Witness subcontractor process and personnel qualification tests in accordance with specification requirements.
  • Competently undertake and document inspection and test activities 
  • Witness/review of subcontractor (first party) inspection and test activities and records
Ideal candidate will have:
  • A recognized degree and/or technical competencies for the assigned scope.
  • Relevant discipline or equivalent qualification/experience
  • Experience in the relevant discipline in the same or similar industry including thorough understanding of the principles and practice of supplier inspection management
  • Quality management/control or inspector certification.
  • A strong communication, networking, collaboration and well-developed team-working skills, especially in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams.
  • A full knowledge of project specific execution strategies, and the ability to develop them to meet challenging project objectives and deliverables.
  • An ‘Incident Free’ mind-set, and be a role model for their project team (Direct/Indirect hires);
