Warehouse Supervisor
Job description
Position: Warehouse Supervisor
Work type: Full time
Location: Baghdad
Open to: Locals Only
Client: International Pharmaceutical company
Main Duties:
-Implement and maintain efficient inventory control measures to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
-Conduct regular stock checks and coordinate with relevant departments to reconcile discrepancies.
-Oversee the accurate and timely receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
-Lead and motivate warehouse staff to achieve high levels of performance and productivity.
-Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel on safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and company policies.
-Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain the integrity of pharmaceutical products throughout the warehouse process.
-Oversee the maintenance and proper use of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and storage systems.
-Collaborate with maintenance teams to address any facility-related issues promptly.
-Collaborate with other departments such as procurement, production, and logistics to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
-Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, transactions, and other relevant documentation.
Generate regular reports on warehouse activities, performance, and KPIs for management review.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
-Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor for minumum (4 years) in the pharmaceutical industry.
-Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical warehouse operations, including regulatory requirements.
-Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
-Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
-Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
