What’s Happening at WRS
WRS at the RE+ Conference 2023
John Gomez, Senior Recruitment Consultant, and Construction Vice President, Curtis Stewart represented WRS at the RE+ Conference 2023 in Las Vegas earlier this month. This conference is one of the largest renewable energy networking events globally, attracting around 40,000 visitors over four days.
Our team had the opportunity to connect with businesses from the industry and gain valuable insights into the challenges they face. Curtis Stewart, Senior Vice President for our Construction Division, shared his thoughts, saying, "RE+ Conference is a huge event, and I'm really pleased that we were able to attend this year. It was incredibly valuable to not only strengthen our partnerships and connections but also deepen our industry insight."

Our Chosen Charity: The MIK Foundation
At WRS, we believe in giving back to the community and making a positive impact. That's why we've chosen to support the MIK Foundation,an orphanage based in Hoima town, Uganda. The foundation provides a loving home to 70 orphans with challenging backgrounds, but they lack crucial resources.
We've kickstarted our mission to help by supplying all the necessary school supplies for the new term, ensuring these children have the tools they need to succeed. Additionally, we are in the midst of a clothes drive to provide them with warm clothing for the upcoming winter season.
But that's not all – we're also collecting items for 'Christmas Suitcases' to provide personalised gifts for each child, spreading joy during the holiday season. Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on our fundraising activities throughout the rest of the year.

WRS Update
WRS Takes on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge
Members of the WRS team are gearing up for an exciting adventure this month as they take on the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. In under 12 hours, our intrepid team will be conquering Ingleborough, Whernside, and Pen-y-Ghent, three of Yorkshire's stunning peaks.
We're crossing our fingers for good weather and wishing them the best of luck on this thrilling journey!
US Employee of the Month
Let's give a huge round of applause to John Gomez, our Senior Recruitment Consultant in the US, for winning last month's Employee of the Month award! John's dedication and outstanding performance have not gone unnoticed, and it's no surprise that he's on a winning streak. He also received the USA Recruiter of the Quarter award last month.
