WRS are recruiting for a Business Planning Manager (Offshore) to to join a green provider of renewable energy solutions for all future-ready and eco-conscious clients. 


Responsibilities:

• You will ensure high quality of the central models, tools and processes used to calculate, monitor, and forecast commercial figures of QENERGY´s offshore wind project portfolio. 
• You identify opportunities to optimize its value and support the Board´s investment decision by providing solid business plans of potential projects. 
• You lead the budgeting and business modelling process and the according models and tools as well as cost and cash-flow forecasts and respective reporting processes for QENERGY´s offshore wind business. 
• You work closely with other offshore business functions such as Engineering, Legal, Finance & Controlling, Risk Management, Procurement, and Project Management with respect to business and commercial aspects as well as economics of our offshore wind projects.
• You support the countries´ offshore teams in all finance and commercial related workstreams within their offshore wind projects, - esp. qualifying the specific business modelling as well as the project´s economics analysis.
• You identify and monitor financial risks and communicate to the Commercial Lead incl. a recommendation of possible measures.

The successful candidate should:

• You have completed a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration (a master´s degree would be preferred).
• You have at least 7 years of professional experience, ideally within the offshore wind sector, the power plant or infrastructure industry.
• You have a deep understanding of the economics of large infrastructure projects in the energy sector together with a strong capability and experience in translating them into dynamic business models.
• You are fluent in English; German would be a plus.
