Seeking an Electrical Engineer to ensure contractor compliance across various facets including scope of work, international standards, engineering design quality, equipment manufacturing, and project scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Review electrical system design packages, encompassing motors, generators, switchgear, distribution network, and power outlets, along with associated documents like drawings, scopes of work, bills of materials, and cost estimates.
- Generate technical reports and specifications for electrical equipment.
- Oversee electrical activities during the FEED design phase of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) projects.
- Collaborate with project managers to finalise electrical engineering scopes.
- Conduct analysis of major equipment chosen in design packages.
- Assist in and participate in equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Demonstrate project execution expertise aligned with industry standards.
- Ensure contractor design work adheres to company standards.
- Coordinate with vendors to solicit bids and aid project managers in bid evaluation.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Science with Electrical Engineering focus.
- Certification as an Engineer is advantageous.
- Proficiency in NEC, IEEE, IEC, and other international electrical standards and practices.
- Familiarity with analog and digital control systems, including DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
