Job description
Position: Marketing and Communication Coordinator
Location: Erbil
Open to: Locals only
Overview:
The ideal candidate will have experience in developing and executing marketing campaigns, creating compelling content, and managing communication channels. This role will be responsible for planning, implementing, and analyzing marketing strategies to promote our programs and services effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote NGO’s programs, services, and events.
-Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email newsletters, and print materials.
-Collaborate with the design team to develop visual assets, such as graphics, videos, and infographics, to support marketing efforts.
-Manage and update the organization's website and social media platforms, ensuring content is current, relevant, and engaging.
-Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools, making recommendations for optimization and improvement.
-Plan and execute communication strategies to engage with our target audience, including stakeholders, partners, and the general public.
-Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and insights for content creation and campaign development.
-Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines.
-Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in marketing and communication.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
-Kurdish and English language proficiency is essential.
-Proven experience in marketing and communication roles, with a track record of managing and executing successful campaigns.
-Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content for different audiences and channels.
-Strong project management skills, with the ability to plan, prioritize, and execute tasks within deadlines.
-Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, and content management systems.
-Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
-Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and communicate ideas clearly and persuasively.
-Knowledge of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) principles and practices is a plus.
