Role: PV Monitoring Technician

We are seeking a PV Monitoring Technician to support full control room operations in a 24-hour response environment, managing all systems effectively.
 
Responsibilities
 

• Continuously monitor PV plant performance via dedicated dashboards, identifying deviations in KPIs.
• Troubleshoot issues remotely, create tickets, and assign work orders as needed.
• Debug and reconfigure alarm systems to address issues not captured by existing alerts.
• Control and switch orders based on evaluation of operating data and associated reports.
• Implement improvements to monitoring systems, dashboards, tools, processes, and procedures through the PDCA cycle.

 
Requirements:
 

• Electrical engineering education or relevant experience in PV operations.
• Experience in project matrix organisations preferred.
• Technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with SCADA systems and remote monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of security systems, including CCTV.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
