Senior Interface Engineer- KL

On behalf of a major Oil & Gas operator, WRS are looking for a Senior Interface Engineer to work in Kuala Lumpur on a contract basis. This will be a 2 year renewable contract, paying a monthly salary in MYR plus benefits. Please note: You MUST have the right to work in Malaysia.

As a Senior Interface Engineer you will be responsible for interfacing and coordinating works for both Offshore Facilities and Onshore Gas Plant project starting from EPC tendering until completion of EPC execution, i.e., Detailed engineering design, Procurement, construction & pre-commissioning and commissioning.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a project focal point for project coordination of Interface points both among Project team and External parties.
• Ensure the effective coordination of interfaces between offshore facilities and Outside Battery limit facilities with Project team and external parties e.g., nearby Plants, etc.
• Ensure alignment of design information share/exchange between two Project teams in a timely manner.
• Facilitate meeting, workshop, coordination between Client project team, government authority, Contractor, nearby Plant, etc.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Familiar with international codes and standards commonly accepted in the oil and gas industry including to related local regulations for offshore and onshore facilities.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas industry.
• Experiences in FEED/EPC for Offshore and/or Onshore facilities of a similar scope/scale to this project.
• Experiences in interface management and stakeholder management e.g., Asset, JV Partner, Government authority, etc.
